At The Way Barbershop, we understand that plans change. We ask that you respect our barbers' time by following the cancellation guidelines below.

Cancellation Window

  • Appointments must be cancelled at least 2 hours before your scheduled time.
  • Cancellations can be made through Booksy, by calling us at (201) 917-3429, or by messaging us directly.

Late Cancellations

If you cancel less than 2 hours before your appointment:

  • A late cancellation may be noted on your account.
  • Repeated late cancellations may result in being required to prepay for future appointments.

No-Shows

A "no-show" is when a client fails to arrive for their appointment without any prior notice. No-shows affect our barbers' schedules and income.

  • First no-show: A reminder of our cancellation policy will be sent.
  • Second no-show: Future bookings may require a deposit or prepayment.
  • Third no-show: We reserve the right to decline future online bookings.

Late Arrivals

  • We offer a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on our schedule.
  • If we cannot accommodate a late arrival, it will be treated as a no-show.

Rescheduling

We are happy to reschedule your appointment at no charge, provided the change is made at least 2 hours before the original time. You can reschedule through Booksy or by contacting us directly.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. If you have an unavoidable situation that prevents you from making your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We handle these situations on a case-by-case basis.

Barber Cancellations

In the rare event that your barber needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible
  • Offer to reschedule at a time that works for you
  • Offer an alternative barber if one is available
